The Path to Successful Certification

The Bosch Engineering GmbH certification service is aimed
at companies whose management systems and products
must satisfy the stringent functional safety requirements
applicable to the electrical and electronics sectors.

In this case, the ICE 61508 and ISO 26262 standards.

Management systems and products can only be certified following an extensive auditing and certification process.

An initial questionnaire is provided to record the key information.

A general informative discussion takes place to clarify
the basic parameters for the certification and a customer-
specific offer is prepared on this basis.
Once the offer is accepted, audit scheduling takes place to
determine the chronology and content of the certification,
with your agreement.
The required proof of conformity and related data is eva-
luated and an audit then takes place at the customer site.

If the certification process is successful, the certificate is
issued and handed over.

The Bosch Engineering GmbH Certification Body docu-
ments the conformity and, therefore, the quality of the
management system and products according to the
relevant standards.

Upon request, the audit and certification regulatory 
is made available by the Certification Body.
