Exhaust-Gas Area

In our exhaust-gas area we carry out exhaust-gas
examinations in accordance with all legal regulations
valid worldwide – for both gasoline and diesel engines.
These include threshold-level tests in accordance with
EU, CARB, EPA and Japanese regulations. The driving
cycles most frequently carried out are the MNEDC and
the FTP 75.

Further fields of application are the vehicle-specific
adaptation of on-board diagnostics functions, the
implementation of experiments on exhaust-gas
optimization, the analysis of the ageing behavior of
components as well as the measurement of C balances.
This range of services is supplemented by SC03 cycles
and program-map parameterization.
